From high-quality spray finishes and specialist coatings through to expressive hand-painted scenic detail, our team brings colour, texture, and character to every project that passes through the workshop. Every piece that leaves our paint shop is finished to an exceptional standard and built to perform in even the most demanding environments.

Scena's prop making and special effects workshop is where artistry and technical craft come together. Equipped to handle a wide range of materials and production techniques, our team creates props, replica pieces, and special effects elements that are visually striking, structurally sound, and built to perform across theatre, film, television, museums, events, and experiential environments. From historically accurate museum replicas and interactive event installations to bold scenic centrepieces for stage and screen, every piece is crafted with precision, creativity, and an uncompromising attention to detail.

Scena's CNC workshop is where digital design meets precision manufacturing. Using advanced computer-controlled cutting and shaping machinery, we process a comprehensive range of materials including MDF, plywood, acrylic, solid surface, compact grade laminate, Di-Bond, aluminium, and chipboard, delivering components to exact specifications across both bespoke one-off pieces and large-scale production runs.

Scena's carpentry and joinery workshop is one of the most capable and experienced in the UK creative construction industry. We produce bespoke joinery, scenic structures, and large-scale timber builds that combine solid, precision construction with an exceptional level of crafted detail. From complex architectural joinery and fitted environments to large-scale scenic set builds and exhibition fit outs, every project that leaves our workshop is built to the highest standard.
