Scena delivered the production build for 'The Everythingists', a new commission by Es Devlin installed at V&A East Storehouse as part of the V&A's inaugural New Work programme.

Scena fabricated the structures across four workshops. CNC, Carpentry & Joinery, Engineering and Painting/Spray. The build required compound angles throughout, with a front elevation of 600mm, and involved working across multiple materials before settling on the right combination for weight, structural performance and finish. The CNC workshop was central to achieving the geometry accurately at scale, with material research and development running alongside fabrication as the forms were resolved.
Scena also handled the LED integration, positioning the lighting behind the artwork and tuning it to run in sync with the installation's soundtrack. Coordinating the electrical and fabrication elements within the structure required input from across the same workshops involved in the build. The installation was completed on site in two days.
