Opera Holland Park's 2024 summer season blended tradition with contemporary reinterpretation across four distinctive productions. Scena fabricated scenic packages for Tosca, The Barber of Seville, Acis & Galatea, and a double bill of Il Segreto di Susanna and Pagliacci, each requiring unique design solutions for the venue's canopied outdoor auditorium surrounded by Holland Park's formal gardens and woodland.
For Tosca, Scena constructed a postered back wall, stone-effect header piece, shop front with return walls, portrait floor cloth, and signage, realizing Yannis Thavoris' modern interpretation. The Barber of Seville required archways, columns, wall trucks, and gates following Neil Irish's design, which incorporated the colours of the adjacent Jacobean Holland Park House. Alyson Cummins' whimsical design for Acis & Galatea featured a pivoting folly, broken archways, and long meadow grass tufts.

For the double bill performances, Scena built ingeniously reversible slotted walls with gold paintwork detailing for Il Segreto di Susanna based on an existing design by Takis. These were turned and reset during the interval to reveal an integrated reverse design with posters and graffiti detailing, alongside a bombed broken railway track and debris completing the set for Pagliacci, designed by Bridget Kimak.
