The build comprised four elements: a large floral centrepiece structure, lighting rings, flower display plinths, and a logo installation. Elements were fabricated from a mix of materials across the Croydon workshops, with spray and painted finishes applied throughout. The complete set was transported from Croydon to Munich and installed on site ahead of the event.
The DKMS Gala is one of the organisation's flagship fundraising moments — the 2026 edition marking a historic milestone for the charity. The scenic build was designed to reflect the scale and significance of the occasion.
