What Is a Bespoke Lighting Case?

Yoke and head restraint
Moving heads are held at the base and head, with foam shaped to stop the yoke rotating and the head tilting under vibration.

Clamp clearance
For hang-in-case designs, foam is cut around the fitted clamps and safeties so fixtures can be lifted straight out and rigged.

Heat and ventilation
Cases can be vented so fixtures that are packed down warm are not sealed in without airflow.

Load balance
In multi-fixture cases, fixtures are arranged to keep weight even across the castors, so the case tracks straight and stacks safely.

Specify Your Lighting Case
Every case is made to order. Tell us the fixture make and model, how many per case, whether they travel with clamps or brackets fitted and how they are transported, and we will design the case around them.
Materials & Finish
Plywood with laminate or HPL faces, aluminium extrusion, steel or ABS corners. Laminate in a range of colours, with screen-printed or engraved branding, contents labels and asset numbering.
Foam Materials
Polyethylene foam for structural support, softer foam on contact faces, cradles shaped to each fixture and protective relief around lenses and optics.
Size & Config
Single and multi-fixture cases for moving heads, profiles, wash lights, LED battens, pars and followspots, plus accessory, cable and spares trunks.
Hardware & Mobility
Castor boards or fitted castors with brakes, recessed handles, butterfly catches, stacking cups and lockable catches.
Access & Storage
Lift-off lids, hinged lids, top-loading or front-loading designs, removable dividers, lift-out trays and accessory compartments.

What materials or foam do you use?
Shells are plywood with laminate or HPL faces, aluminium extrusion and steel corners. Interiors use polyethylene foam cradles with softer foam on contact faces.

Yes. Every case is designed around your fixture model, quantity, clamps and accessories.
Is the case suitable for touring, shipping, or air freight?
Yes. Our lighting cases are built for touring and freight, with sizes planned around truck packs where needed.
